Sharing God's Love for the Nations

Elisa's Story: Using Her Heart for Counseling in Nepal with Operation Mobilization

Elisa met us at Passion 2007 as a senior psychology major with a huge heart to combine counseling and missions. Previously, she had been on numerous mission trips to Asia and a few to Africa.

Elisa’s mission coach told her about different opportunities working overseas with Operation Mobilization (OM) and sent her profile to OM in February ’07. They kept in touch and prayed for the right opportunity to arise that lined up with her finances and grad school.

Elisa contacted us in November ’07 to let us know that she’d be serving overseas in Nepal with OM for 5 months. She says, “I am excited about this opportunity! I used to work at a ministry where I had to call people on the phones after they expressed interest in the organization and I know that while sometimes it is wonderful because of the people you get to talk to; it can also be hard and takes lots of perseverance. So thanks for your patience and for still picking up the phone even if you had to leave a thousand messages...the Lord is blessing your labor!”

We’re grateful that Elisa will be using her heart for counseling in Nepal with Operation Mobilization.

Operation Mobilization works in over 110 countries, motivating and equipping people to share God’s love with people all over the world.

Kimberly's Story: Using Her Love for Children in Slovakia with Teachoverseas.org

Kimberly contacted us in September 2007 as an elementary school teacher. She had a huge heart for Europe and has lived in Asia before. She felt the call to return to Europe and teach and share the gospel with elementary children.

Kimberly kept in touch with her RightNow coach who sent her profile to Teachoverseas.org. Now, a year later, she let us know that she leaves at the end of August to teach in Slovakia for one year.

We’re excited that Kimberly will be using her love for children in Slovakia with Teachoverseas.org.

Teachoverseas.org’s vision is to share God’s love through teaching.
