Putting a nursing degree to use in medical missions with Pioneers in Togo

This is Sarah's story of taking part in a short-term medical missions trip with Pioneers in Togo and how she traded in the American dream for a world that desperately needs Christ. Sarah first met a mission coach from RightNow after the Passion 06 event. Sarah stayed in touch over the course of two years sharing her story with her coach and describing her desire to use her nursing degree overseas. Sarah’s missions coach helped her connect to an opportunity with Pioneers focusing on medical outreach among an unreached people groups. She is now heading to Togo this summer to put her nursing degree into practice.
