CURE International is seeking a “Handy-man” to Serve short-term Overseas

CURE International is a non-profit Christian organization that exists to help heal physically and spiritually disabled children in developing countries. CURE International specifically helps children with Hydrocephalus, Cleft Palate, Club Foot, Spinal Bifida and other spinal deformities. To date, over 700,000 children, along with their families, have been touched through CURE.

CURE International in Ethiopia is in urgent need of someone to oversee the final construction of a new hospital. This person will help coordinate small construction work such as build shelving or counters, organize the unloading of containers, and set up furnishings and equipment. A background and experience in construction is necessary. Someone who is generally a handy man and has some electrical experience is a plus.

If you are available to travel to Ethiopia by July 1, 2008 or sooner, and are able to remain a minimum of six weeks to three months, CURE will compensate for your airfare and room and board.
