Erwin McManus, Donald Miller, Margaret Feinberg and others Inspire Young Adult Ministry Leaders at LeadNow08 Conference

How do we encourage young adults to live a life above mediocrity? Here at the RightNow Campaign we’ve created LeadNow08 for the purpose of helping leaders answer that question.

On April 24-26, various pastors and leaders of young adults gathered in Seattle and Orlando. We heard stirring messages from Al Weiss (President of Disney Resorts), Margaret Feinberg (award-winning author), Dan Kimball (Pastor of Vintage Faith in Santa Cruz) and Todd Phillips (Pastor of Frontline, Washington DC). They highlighted the three-day event that helped leaders learn how to guide young adults to putting their faith into action.

Donald Miller began the conference with a message from Seattle that broadcasted live to Orlando. Miller did a masterful job connecting with audiences in Seattle and Orlando. Leaders were challenged to develop deep rooted relationships that will allow for greater transformation and ultimately greater reach as a leader.

Erwin McManus, from Mosaic Los Angeles, captivated the audience with his vulnerability and brute honesty about the impact the church could and should have in our culture. Attendee’s left refreshed knowing that Jesus Christ alone is this generation’s hope, but they were also challenged to help our generation put their faith into action by spreading the name of Christ throughout the world.

If you’re interested in attending LeadNow, we’d love to have you there. The next chance to attend will be LeadNow+Dallas on November 13-15, 2008. Register today at RightNow.org or call 1-866-55-Go-Now.
