This is Caryn’s Story of how a passion for Africa turned into a real-life missions experience and how she traded in the American dream for a world that desperately needs Christ. Caryn had a passion for Africa. She contacted a RightNow missions coach looking for a way to turn that passion into an opportunity to serve the people of Africa. Caryn’s missions coach helped her connect to Operation Mobilization. Caryn spent 6 months in South Africa serving at an outreach center focused on serving orphans, people suffering from AIDS and sharing the gospel in neighborhoods without churches. Caryn returned in December only to make plans to head back to Namibia with Operation Mobilization this summer. In her own words, “seriously, Africa is in my blood and there is no getting rid of it now.”
